Guadalajara, Jalisco, June 28, 2025.- Michoacán added a silver and two more bronzes in the 2025 National Olympiad, thanks to the disciplines of Taekwondo and Athletics, so he momentarily reached 74 metals: 22 golds, 24 Argentines and 28 of the third place.

The State Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CUECFID), reports that on the last day of Taekwondo activity on Tapatío soil, the entity obtained a money and a bronze in the team combat modality. With those medals, this discipline closed its participation with a total of 24 in this 2025 edition.

La Plata won through the representative Men’s Sub 21, made up of Ángel Ruiz, Arturo Hernández, Carlos Aguilar and Jairo Barriga. While bronze through the Junior female, composed of Georgina Ochoa, Fernanda Barajas, Regina Navarrete and Sofía Padilla.

For its part, the bronze was achieved thanks to the athlete Hellen Silva in the 3 thousand meters test, female sub 18 category, after stopping the stopwatch after 10 minutes, 14 seconds and 84 hundredths. The podium was complemented by the Mexican Geraldine Martínez and the capital Sarah Martínez, first and second, respectively.
