The second day of the inter -departmental badminton competition was played against the women and men. The first match in women’s singles was between operating and signal. In this, Suman of operating won. The second match was between commercial and personal. Personal garland defeated Priyanka of commercial. In the third match, Vaibhavi of the signal defeated Sunita of the commercial. In the fourth match, Person’s Suhani defeated the team by defeating Poonam of the signal. Personal garlands and Suhani pair won the semi -finals by winning the women’s doubles. Priya and Shruti’s pair of commercial also won. Commercial’s fragrance and Sunita also entered the semi -finals. The pair of Julie and Preity Dubey also won the doubles. RPF, engineering, personal and mechanic teams in the men’s category confirmed their place in the semi -finals. The final match of the competition will be played at the Sonpur Railway Club tomorrow. The chief guest will be Divisional Railway Manager Vivek Bhushan.
