Haarlemmermeer, 26 June 2025-BC Meershuttle, the badminton association from Haarlemmermeer, is proud to announce that this year two teams from the club were allowed to play the Dutch Championship for Youth on June 15th. It is about the J5 team in the silver category (Varsha, Hirannya, Anaira and Aarna) and the J2-Team in the J2-Team in Karthikeya).

The J5 team has achieved a handsome 3rd place in the silver category, a bronze medal. This performance underlines the commitment of the club to develop young talent within a safe, inclusive and competitive sports environment.

The J5 team, consisting of Varsha Mithun, Hirannya Mahatpurkar, Anaira Nitin Sonare and Aarna Sarathy, showed that he had exceptional skills, cooperation and perseverance during the championship. Against top teams from all over the Netherlands, these young athletes proved the power and team spirit that are characteristic of BC Meershuttle.

“We are extremely proud of our juniors for their great achievement,” says coach Kees of BC Meershuttle. “The bronze medal is a reward for their hard work and dedication, but also for the stimulating environment that we offer as a club. This performance motivates us all and confirms our mission to guide talent at every level.”

BC Meersshuttle is known for its hospitable atmosphere and various membership, and offers opportunities to players of all ages and levels – from holidaymakers to top players. The club expresses her thanks to the coaches, volunteers and supporters who have contributed to this success.
