Andriliva’s victory marks a significant milestone, making her the youngest player to reach the quarterfinals of the Dubai Championships in 24 years. This impressive feat follows a string of strong performances, as Swiatek was eliminated in the quarterfinals, after reaching the finals the previous year and the quarterfinals the year before that.

The quarterfinals are set to feature a compelling matchup between Andriliva and Labajena. Labajena secured her spot with a decisive 6-2, 7-2 victory over former Australian open champion, Kilian. Meanwhile, another compelling clash awaits in the other quarterfinal.The Danish player, Tausin, having defeated Sabalenka in the round of 16, will face Noskova.Tausin’s victory was a resounding 7-6, 6-4 win, setting up a quarterfinal showdown against another Czech player, Muzdova.
