Ofner and Thiem Part Ways Professionally
Tennis player Sebastian Ofner and his manager Moritz Thiem have decided to end their professional relationship. Thiem made the announcement on New Year’s Day, stating that the split was amicable and stemmed from differing visions for Ofner’s future.
While Thiem will no longer be managing Ofner,Wolfgang Thiem,Moritz’s father,will continue to coach the Styrian athlete. Wolfgang has been Ofner’s coach since 2017.

Ofner is currently focused on making a comeback to the court after undergoing surgery on both legs in September. The procedure aimed to address a persistent heel problem that had been plaguing him.In January 2022, Ofner achieved a career-high ranking of 37th in the ATP rankings. Currently, he sits at 88th.
