As 2024 draws to a close, it’s unbelievable to reflect on how quickly the year has flown by. for me, Sakai, a second-year manager with the Meiji University Baseball Club, it’s been a year filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable experiences both on and off the field.
To celebrate the end of the year, we’re excited to unveil a special project: “Meiji university Baseball Team no. 1 Deciding Match!” Over the next two days, we’ll be revealing the top players chosen by our team members in various categories.
Our selection process involved a club-wide survey where players voted for their teammates who best embodied each theme. The player with the moast votes in each category was crowned the “No. 1”!
Let’s kick things off with the first category: “The Player who Looks Best in the Meiji University Baseball Uniform”!
Taking the top spot is none other than third-year player Yoshida from Urawa Gakuin!
When we shared the news with him, Yoshida beamed and said, “It makes me incredibly happy to hear that my teammates think I look good in the uniform!”
