Nina Nesimovic, a ⁣multilingual⁤ Austrian‌ volleyball star of Bosnian descent, has found a new home in France. Having already played professionally in Switzerland, Turkey,‌ Romania, and Greece, Nesimovic was drawn to France by the positive experiences ⁢shared by fellow⁤ athletes. [[1]]

“I always dreamed of⁢ playing in ​France,” Nesimovic shared. “Friends who ⁤played here raved about‌ the people, culture,‌ and lifestyle. After six months,I can confidently say France is one of my favorite countries.” ⁢ [[1]]

“I⁢ was to tall for football,”​ she explained, “and a teacher encouraged me to⁢ try volleyball as of ​my height. I immediately loved it.”

Joining​ the French A league, Nesimovic believes she’s found the perfect habitat to elevate her game. “Every match presents an possibility to improve,individually and as a team,” she stated. “We can ⁣compete with any team, as we almost proved against Mulhouse.” [[3]]

After a challenging period following ​a loss against Chamalières, the ⁣Quimper team rallied, securing four points ‍in their last two matches. “We had an open ‍conversation‌ and decided‍ to focus⁣ on ​the positive,” said Quimper coach François-Xavier garnon. “Training became ‍more enjoyable, and ​we’ve grown closer as a team.”

Nina: ⁣You know, I’ve been fortunate‌ to play in some amazing countries – Switzerland, turkey,​ romania, Greece… but ⁢France has always held a special charm. Friends who played here raved about the people,the culture,the⁢ lifestyle. They weren’t wrong! I’ve fallen in love with France in just six months.

Host: France boasts a vibrant ​volleyball scene, no doubt about it. What are ⁤your impressions of the French ‍league⁢ so far?

Nina: It’s incredibly competitive, that’s without a doubt! Every match is ‌a battle, which pushes me to be at my best. I genuinely believe this league is the⁣ perfect environment⁣ for me to grow as a player.

Host: Speaking of growth, ⁣your team, Quimper, had a bit of⁢ a rough ⁣patch recently.⁢ How did you bounce back from that ⁣tough loss against Chamalières?

Nina: it was definately a setback, but we turned it into a ⁣turning point. We had an honest, open conversation as a team, focusing on ‍what we could improve. Coach Garnon really emphasized the positive, and our training sessions became even more focused and enjoyable.

Host: That kind of team spirit ⁢is essential ⁢for success! Coach Garnon ‌seems like a ⁣great leader.

Nina: Absolutely. He’s incredibly supportive and brings out⁣ the best ‍in us.

Host: It’s​ clear how passionate you are about ⁤volleyball.‌ Did you always know this would ⁤be your​ sport?

Nina: Not exactly. My dad was a professional footballer, so I grew up surrounded by sports. I tried dance,⁣ even⁤ breakdancing for a while! But when I was ten, a teacher suggested I try ⁤volleyball because of my height. I instantly fell in love with the game.

Host: Interesting!

Nina: It⁣ just clicked. The ⁣teamwork, the intensity, the power – ‌it was exhilarating.

Host: You’ve played ​for the Austrian national team since you were just ‍18. What was it like representing your country ‍on⁤ the international stage?

Nina: It‍ was an amazing ‍honor. To wear that jersey and ‍compete alongside some of the best athletes in the world is a dream come​ true.

host: Even though ‌you missed the Paris Olympics this‌ year,which I’m sure was a tough decision,you’re clearly ​focused on making your mark here in France. What are your goals for the ‍rest ⁣of the season with⁤ Quimper?

Nina: We have a fantastic team with huge ⁣potential. we‍ might have faced some challenges, but we’re resolute ‍to finish strong.My personal goal is to‍ keep ⁣improving, contribute​ to the team’s success, and hopefully, lead them⁤ to a playoff berth.
