Treviso Archers Win Two National Titles and Multiple Medals at Canegrate Championships

Led by standout individual performances and strong team showings across youth and master divisions, the club emerged as one of the premier squads of the tournament held in mid-September.

Faganello Claims Barebow Gold in Thrilling Shootout

The headline achievement for the Treviso club belonged to Mirco Faganello, who captured the men’s barebow Italian absolute title. Faganello navigated a demanding elimination bracket on Saturday, defeating Maurizio Livraghi, Fabrizio Simoni, and top seed Matteo Uggeri.

In the women’s barebow division, Chiara Mandricardo added a silver medal to the club’s tally after advancing through the rounds to reach the final, where she narrowly missed the top step of the podium.

Youth Squad Dominates Compound and Target Events

Treviso’s youth sector delivered multiple podium finishes under the guidance of president and coach Giuseppe May, alongside field technicians Maria Giovanna Minetto and Roberto Faotto. The under-18 compound team trio of Gabriel Nacucchi, Roberto Nicola, and Elia Busana claimed the Italian team championship.

Master Divisions and Local Celebrations

In the master and adult categories, the barebow trio of Mirco Faganello, Cristiano Simionato, and Giorgio Franchino earned a bronze medal in the master class team standings with 1,775 points, finishing fourth overall in the national team event. Technical support for the older divisions was shared by Faganello and Franchino.

The club scheduled a public celebration for athletes and the local community at Treviso’s annual Sports Festival to mark the medal-winning campaign.
