Reassuring collection

“We imagined there would be a little more wastenevertheless counterbalances Nicolas Betton, in charge of communication at the Drôme stations. We think that these are rather people who have, unfortunately, forgot something on the roof of the car or a small piece of paper that flew off while skiing.” The professional remembers: “When I was walking in nature a long time ago, we found washing machines. These are things that we have not found. We start with the idea that these are accidents, rather than voluntary acts.”

“It’s encouraging for the future, rejoices Nicolas Betton. This proves that the Drômois or the people who come to the stations have already a sensitivity towards environmental protection.” Other waste, however, is more worrying.

Too much industrial waste

Mickaël, from Saint-Just-de-Claix in Isère, shows barbed wire, metal grouped together on the trash sorting tarpaulin. “As soon as we left the ski slopes, in the forest, we found large 20 liter bags of rubbleadds his brother Gabriel. That’s it ‘More How is it possible that it got here?’ We collected a lot of industrial waste.” Both go hiking, so Mickaël says: “This is not a simple hiker. It’s a little scary.”
