🇳🇱Dutch championship, Noardbergum🇳🇱Whit Monday was the day for the Dutch BMX Championship of the NFF. This was held at FCC De Heideclub in Noardburgum. 20 riders from FCC Putten had qualified for the National Championships. Jayden Vermeer (14), Debbie Schalk (17) and twin brother Joost Schalk (17) managed to win the championship title during the National Championships and can call themselves Dutch champions 🇳🇱🏆🥇 for a year. It was a special day. As always, we started with the training and then the parade and the Wilhelmus. Exciting heats and 1/4 and 1/2 finals were held. 10 riders managed to get a place in the final, but unfortunately, due to heavy rain, hail and thunder, the race had to be stopped and after stage 5 no more finals could be ridden and no prizes could be awarded. Stan van den Brink (5) still has his final able to cycle and achieved sixth place. Unfortunately, this was no longer possible for the other finalists and the final score was determined on the basis of the Heats, the 1/4 and 1/2 final results. It’s a shame for everyone that the battle for the championship title has to end like this.
