With the same energy as the first edition in 2003 and despite the cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic, this weekend the twentieth edition of an already traditional badminton and popular provincial sport event will be held.
Recovering participants from years prior to 2020, the number of registered players has reached 155 players. The organizers, in this case the Provincial Badminton Delegation and the Soria Badminton Club, are very satisfied with the response received.
The test will take place in the Fuente del Rey pavilion, with matches taking place simultaneously on ten courts. The start of the tournament will take place at nine thirty in the morning on Saturday and after a slight break in the middle of the day, the development of the matches will resume from four in the afternoon until the end of Saturday itself.
Finally, during the morning on Sunday the final matches will be held that will define the winners receiving the prizes around fourteen hours.
In addition to the trophies, all participants will receive a bag with gifts including the long-awaited t-shirt that once again stands out for its elaborate design.
The carrying out of this test could not be carried out without the support of the public institutions of Soria, the private sponsors and the media that promote, once again, this event and the volunteers who carry out the necessary tasks for the correct functioning of the competition.
