Twelve people injured after a fight between clans with firearms in Antequera

Up to twelve people were injured this Monday at noon as a result of a fight who have starred two clans and in which they have occurred shots in the Malaga town of Antequera. Four people have been arrested for this event derived from neighborhood problems between rival clans. The Police have reported that five of the injuries were caused by firearms.

Initially, health sources estimated the number of wounded at seven, which this Tuesday increased to twelve, although the National Police estimated the number of gunshot wounds at five.

Of the total number of injured, only one remains in the hospital. Antequera Hospital waiting to be discharged, and two others, who were transferred to the Malaga Regional Hospitalare stable within the severity, with a reserved prognosis.

Security forces deployed a extensive provision in the vicinity of the Hospital from Antequera, where the injured were transferred and some of their relatives attended.

The Police specify that of the five injuries they have recorded, one is very serious, two are in serious condition and two are minor.

Notice for a fight

The events began around 1:45 p.m., police sources have informed Europa Press, who have specified that around that time they were notified of a fight, apparently between two gypsy clans from Antequera.

The same police sources have indicated that, around 2:25 p.m., one of the parties opened fire with a gunand that there have been several injuries.

From 112 they have confirmed that this emergency service has received several calls around 2:30 p.m. that warned of a fight, shots and injured people in the station avenue, in the aforementioned city. 112 has notified the National Police, Local Police and Health Services, who have traveled to the area.

The researchers, as EFE has been able to verify, have collected evidence at the scene and they have also analyzed a small displacement motorcycle found at the site.
