The race for the final Europa League spots is still very much alive.

The fifth-placed team, currently Tottenham Hotspur, will secure a place in the UEFA Europa League. A draw will be enough for Spurs when they take on Sheffield United – the team propping up the table.

If Manchester United win the FA Cup against Manchester City next weekend, then they will take the second Europa League qualification spot. Should City win, then that place will go to the team that finishes sixth in the league.

If United win, then the sixth-placed finisher, currently Chelsea, will go into the Europa Conference League.

Seventh spot will only claim a Europa Conference League place if City win the Cup.

Newcastle United currently hold seventh spot from Manchester United on goal difference.
