TV rights for Ligue 1 and the Euro: beIN Sports is waiting to complete the deals

The time seems long ago when beIN Sports offered itself the broadcasting rights to the World Cups and Euros at a high price and well in advance of the competitions. In the meantime, the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has happened and negotiations have become increasingly tight with the Franco-Qatari channel and its parent company beIN Media Group around these major international events. As proof, three weeks before the start of Euro 2024 (June 14-July 14), beIN is more than discreet with UEFA, still looking for a French broadcaster for all 51 matches in its competition (TF1 and M6 are guaranteed to offer 25, 12 for the first and 13 for the second, after having paid €55 million).
