In a well-stocked Stadium (more than 30,000 spectators), Stade Toulousain won against the English Harlequins this Saturday (38-26) in the Champions Cup semi-final. Well ahead at the break (31-12) thanks to an offensive festival and tries from Lebel (4th), Mauvaka (19th), Flament (27th) and Dupont (33rd, 37th), Ugo Mola’s players experienced a second period more delicate, even causing a few scares.
Arrows Murley (46th) and Green (53rd) gave the “Quins” hope but the Rouge et Noir finally took off again thanks to a try from Mallia (69th). Toulouse will face the Irish from Leinster in the final. Old reunions…
