The Nice coach relished Nice’s victory against Le Havre, synonymous with European qualification next season.
Francesco Farioli, the coach of Nice, enjoyed living “an important moment with emotion” Friday after the victory against Le Havre (1-0), whose coach, Luka Elsner, thinks he will play against Marseille on the last day.
After the final whistle of a match which ensured European qualification in Nice, Farioli admitted “an important moment with emotion”. “It has been a long season with beautiful moments, but also more complicated and, some, extra-sporting, special sporting moments”he added, specifying that he had a thought for his player Alexis «Beka Beka»currently at rest.
“There was sunshine, sometimes clouds, but we tried to smile despite some complicated moments”he continued, avoiding answering about his future.
“It doesn’t make much sense to talk about me, we should rather highlight what the team did”, he said. Especially since if “the season is successful”it still counts “protect at least 5th place in front of Lens”and prepare well for the reception in Paris on Wednesday.
Luka Elsner, for his part, had little taste of the goal conceded. “It is incomprehensible and unacceptable,” he said.
