Milan, 23 May 2024 – The magical duo Doncic-Irving hits the mark: Game 1 of the Western Conference playoff final smiles at dallaswhich conquers the parquet of the Target Center in Minnesota. The Texans won 108-105, thanks above all to its two main talents, who combined for 63 points. If Irving allows the Mavericks to stay in the wake of their opponents in the first half (62-59 for the Timberwolves), Doncic pushes his team to success in the second half, scoring the decisive baskets in the final, as well as the Washington which is worth the definitive overtaking against the hosts, who are not enough with 24 points McDaniels and the double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds by Edwards. In the moment of greatest difficulty, the home team clings to Edwards e Towns, with the latter sending the counter-overtaking bomb to the target at 99-98. Edwards also makes it +4 with 3’37” left, but just around the corner is the 8-0 break for the Mavericks, led by Doncic and Washington. Break that proves decisive, because coach Finch’s team is no longer able to fill the gap dug.
