“Yesterday I had a discussion with coach Shin, I asked about plans to call up players who would be used for the senior national team,” said Sumardji, as reported by Youtube Inews TV, Sunday (12/5/2024).
“God willing, the whole collection will be collected on the 27th (May) evening in Jakarta. The hope is that naturalized players can come together. “The latest is the 28th,” he continued.
Furthermore, Sumardji said that it was hoped that the players would really make good use of the relatively tight time period. The most important thing according to him is how the chemistry between the players can become more unified.
“So we will use the available time to hold TC so that (players) get to know each other again. “Of course the aim is to build chemistry because this is more important in relation to chemistry,” said Sumardji.
As is known, the Indonesian National Team will continue its struggle in Group F by playing the remaining two matches. Against Iraq on June 6, while the Philippines will be on June 11. The two matches are scheduled to take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Jakarta.
