The last few days have been complicated for everyone, our minds always go back to game 1, however when preparing for the matches the concentration is total, as is the desire for revenge among all of us. We therefore apologize for the delay with which we presented ourselves to this final series. Game 2 was our opportunity to immediately equalize the series and to demonstrate first of all to ourselves and then also to those who come to watch us every Sunday who we are and what we can do, despite the fact that we have a team and a coach in front of us who deserved, like us, to be in the final after a long and exhausting season.
We had a very different initial approach from that of game 1, in the first two quarters our defense was excellent both in terms of cohesion and desire to help each other and this allowed us to control many more rebounds compared to Sunday and with those we could have run more on the counterattack.
Our possessions and therefore the shots taken increased, plus we had advantages in the area and this also allowed us to open the court more and improve our three-point shooting percentages.
This allowed us to make the initial break, immediately accumulating a good lead and from that moment on it was obvious that the match was downhill, so much so that it ended on +19 in the first half and +30 at the end.
We are very clear that Osimo is a team that deploys many shooters on the perimeter and attacks a lot in penetration, but this time too, as in game 1, in the third quarter we suffered too much from this characteristic of theirs.
