Until Sunday, June 30, educational institutions, public and private in Soledad, will be able to register their students in the 2024 Intercollegiate Games, in their Municipal Phase.
The largest school sports event in the country, plans to have the participation of more than 3 thousand students in Soledad, allowing the promotion of sports development, strengthen values and promote the comprehensive training of girls, boys and young people.
To formalize registration, representatives of educational institutions must enter the link, look for the National Intercollegiate Games banner (image) and follow the registration and registration steps.
The sporting event includes 36 sports modalities, 19 individual and 13 group, as well as 3 Parasports and school festivals.

The individual competitions will be made up of chess, athletics, judo, karate, weightlifting, wrestling, skating, taekwondo, among others. Team sports will consist of basketball, handball, baseball, soccer, indoor soccer, mini basketball, mini indoor soccer, mini volleyball, cheerleading, rugby, softball and volleyball. The Parasports will be: boccia, Para swimming and Para athletics.
The 2024 Intercollegiate Games are coordinated with the Ministry of Sports and will be developed in five phases: municipal, departmental, regional, national final and international phase, girls, boys may participate and young people in school, between 7 and 17 years of age, in the categories of school festivals, pre-school, children’s, pre-youth and youth.
“It is important to participate in these sports competitions, taking into account that Soledad has qualified for departmental phases, providing values of responsibility, solidarity, tolerance and respect among the participating students,” said Cesar Orozco, Secretary of Sports.
The municipal phase will take place between July 15 and August 15 in 12 recreational sports venues.
