Senators equaled the top after beating Centauros

Senators of Caracas traveled to Macuto to beat Centauros de la Guaira 5-4 as a visitor. The capitalians equaled the top of the championship with Delfines.

In the close match, the visitors went ahead on the scoreboard in the first inning, with Brian Rey’s second home run of the campaign. In the second act, the Senators extended their lead 2-0 with an RBI double by Brainer Bonaci.

Centauros equalized the score at the end of the second chapter with the first full return blow by Jairo Pérez.

At the top of the fifth inning, the capitalians went up 5-2 with a solid hit from four corners by Seuly Matias, which marked definitive numbers in the match. The outfielder went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored.
