After the resounding success of the first edition last year, the Family Fighting Club Castelnaudais, under the leadership of its president Christophe Loubaney, and in partnership with the town hall of Listrac-Médoc, announces the return of Martial Arts Day and combat sports. This second, long-awaited edition will take place on Saturday June 1st at the sociocultural hall of Listrac-Médoc.
Many sports practices
This year, the event promises to be even more spectacular with a wide variety of disciplines represented. The clubs of Listrac-Médoc, Castelnau-de-Médoc and Avensan will come together to offer presentations and free introductory courses. Featured sports include kickboxing, aero-kick, ju-jitsu, judo, krav maga, tai chi chuan and taekwondo.
A rich program
The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. with a kickboxing session, followed at 1:30 p.m. by an introduction to judo. At 3 p.m., a krav maga class will be offered, then at 4:30 p.m. it will be ju-jitsu. Finally, an aero-kick session will close the initiations at 6 p.m.
At 7:30 p.m., the evening will be marked by demonstrations carried out by the various participating clubs. They will take place throughout the gala meal, concocted at home by the organizers and inspired by Portuguese flavors. The evening will also be enlivened by a lively musical atmosphere, promising a memorable experience for all.
Placed under the sign of sport, sharing and discovery, this day promises to be an opportunity to learn about martial arts and combat sports in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
