This Sunday, May 26, Colombia won a medal gold in the Archery World Cup Yecheon 2024, thanks to the athlete Sara Lopez.
This happened in South Korea while the final of the championship was being played, after defeating the Mexican athlete Andrea Becerra with a score of 146 against 144 points in the individual compound modality.
In this dispute in search of gold, Andrea began her participation with the score in her favor and a point difference (29-30), however, Sara managed match the points and went around the round his favor and get a (30-29) for two consecutive rounds.
The definition came in the final round with the score (29-28) and after the aggregate (146-144), which meant that the Colombian took home the gold medal.
