Roman Litalien Receives First Dan Black Belt in Judo: A Tale of Dedication and Success

Thursday May 23, 2024 in the dojo on the banks of the Indre, Roman Litalien was awarded the first dan black belt in judo from the hands of Pascal Auger, his trainer, and the president of the judo association Vincent Bruss.

“This reward represents one of the goals of life”, signals the recipient before observing the ritual of the modules. This smiling young man who started judo at the age of 4 and who only stopped during the Covid period. He listened carefully to the recommendations of his trainer Pascal Auger while observing the ritual of the modules to obtain this belt and its validation.

A lover of Japan

Passionate about gastronomy, Roman Litalien is in love with Japanese culture. Now a work-study student at the Auberge de la Caillère, he specializes in making sweets such as mochi and dorayaki with the aim of a future stay in the land of the rising sun.

This award constitutes a real success for President Vincent Bruss, who worked hard to turn around this judo club which was in decline.
