Repsol Honda riders test their motorcycles in a mining operation before the World Cup

The Repsol Honda trial team has already headed to Motegi to inaugurate a new season of the TrialGP World Championship on May 17 in Japan. Toni Bou will be in charge of defending the title, while Gabriel Marcelli arrives in top form after not getting off the podium in any of the tests held this year in X-Trial.

The 17-time Outdoor Trial World Champion, Toni Bou, will seek to continue his streak of victories with which he closed last TrialGP season and which he currently maintains in the indoor modality. His teammate, Gabriel Marcelli, will face his third season defending the colors of the Repsol Honda team. With the eight consecutive podiums achieved so far in 2024, between the X-Trial championship and the Spanish Championship, the young driver sees himself with the possibility of fighting with his teammate for victory.

Both riders showed that they are ready to return to action in TrialGP, putting their bikes to the test in a mining operation in the Tarragona town of El Vendrell. With spectacular maneuvers over vehicles, obstacles and tools typical of a quarry, Bou and Marcelli are ready for a new season with the Repsol Honda team.

The TrialGP World Championship calendar will have seven events. After the double test in Japan, the drivers will compete again in Sant Julià de Lòria (Andorra), Valsassina (Italy), Neunkirchen (Germany), Comblain-au-Pont (Belgium), Cahors (France), and the closing of The season will be held in Ripoll (Spain).
