Completely unexpectedly we had to say goodbye to our badminton member ANDY VAN BATAVIA.
On April 11, after our play evening in the sports hall, Andy became unwell in the locker room. Immediate help was provided by all those present and the relevant authorities were immediately contacted, but unfortunately this was of no avail. Andy died in the night from Thursday to Friday. His death deeply affects us as an association. In Andy we lose a fanatic, committed and sociable member of our club.
On Monday, April 15, we set up a memorial table in the sports hall and gave our (ex-) members the opportunity to say goodbye to Andy, write words to the relatives and, above all, share this great sadness with each other.
We will miss Andy enormously.
