What has been known for some time is now official: the bowl will go to Eindhoven this year. PSV crowned themselves national champions for their own people with a 4-2 win against Sparta Rotterdam. Johan Bakayoko did his bit with a goal.

Fireworks and a countless number of paper dishes in the Philips Stadium. Besides the real bowl, of course. Because Captain Luuk de Jong was allowed to raise it into the air in front of a packed stadium.

This afternoon, PSV was crowned champion of the Netherlands for the 25th time in club history. A draw was enough against Sparta Rotterdam.

PSV eventually won with clear numbers, but after 8 minutes everyone was still holding their breath. Metinho then gave the visitors the lead.

Johan Bakayoko had no desire to postpone the title celebration and pushed the 2-1 into the far corner just two minutes after the equalizer.

The visitors hit back one last time with an own goal, but lost out in the second half against an overdeserved national champion. Boscagli presented an acrobatic bicycle to kick off the party, Teze removed all doubts.
