As of: May 9, 2024 8:31 a.m

The Edmonton Oilers around national ice hockey player Leon Draisaitl lost the start of the NHL playoff series against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Cologne player prepared the first two goals in the 4:5 win on Wednesday evening (May 8th, 2024). In the second third, Draisaitl was missing for several minutes and was not on the bench. There was initially no information about the reasons.

After his return, Draisaitl seemed inhibited and could not prevent the comeback of the Canucks, who were temporarily down 4-1. The hosts scored the goals to make it 3:4, 4:4 and 5:4 in the final third within 4:48 minutes.
