NFL Expected to Release 2024-25 Schedule Next Week, Detroit Lions’ Opponents Revealed

ALLEN PARK — The NFL is making a plan to make a plan, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting the expectation is that the 2024-25 schedule will drop next week Wednesday night (May 15).

It was initially expected that the schedule would hit the airwaves Thursday night this week. However, after some late-night updates from ESPN and the Sports Business Journalthat is not the case.

We’ve known the Detroit Lions’ opponents since the regular season ended in early January. But the schedule release has turned into a major promotional event and prime-time broadcast for NFL Network. Not to mention that most teams’ social media accounts embrace the moment and go all out to announce the order of games.
