Naseong Korean Church club leaders are asking Koreans to participate. Pastor Jeong Seung-yeon, who oversees the club, said, “During the pandemic, I was able to see many of my neighbors who were tired and struggling physically and mentally,” and added, “We are expanding the club activities to the community with the intention of helping them recover with a healthy mind and body and share the love of the Lord together.” “He explained.

In particular, a dedicated coach is assigned to teach new members for free so that they can learn professionally.

For example, the leader of the quilt class that meets every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. to learn sewing and knitting is Seol-ah Jeong, who has run a quilt garden club in LA for the past 15 years. Pastor Jeong, who is in charge of the soccer team, has a coaching license issued by the Korea Football Association. Team leader Jo Eun-jeom of the table tennis team has been playing as an amateur player for 15 years and is showing off his skills.

In addition, pickleball (team leader Bae Eun-young) and line dance (team leader Lisa Kim) classes were also opened as customized exercises for seniors who are interested in health.

Activity times and lesson times for each sport vary from weekdays to weekends.

In the case of basketball, adults in their 20s to 50s start every Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., and teenagers start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Pickleball players gather every Tuesday at 7 p.m. to enjoy the game and take group lessons at 8 p.m. The line dance team meets at 6:30 PM on Wednesday and 2:30 PM on Sunday, and the table tennis team meets at 6:30 PM on Thursday and 3:00 PM on Sunday. Badminton is also practiced on Thursdays from 6:30 PM.

The soccer team, which children as young as 6 years old can participate in, gathers at El Serrano Park at 6:30 a.m. on Saturdays to play.
