And, at the same time, he makes it known that he will not go to the Roma of his friend (and former Boc Jrs teammate) Daniele De Rossi, as insistent market ‘rumors’ wanted. Instead Nandez makes it known that he will play for another Italian team.
Furthermore, the Uruguayan midfielder would have recently received a difficult-to-refuse offer of 10 million per year for a three-year contract from All’ Quadisiya, a newly promoted club in the Saudi League. More will be known in the next few hours, meanwhile Nandez tells the Cagliari public that “I thought this moment, this day, would never come. But I wanted to make this little video to greet you all, to thank you. They have been five truly beautiful years. I have arrived in Cagliari as a boy and now I’m leaving as a man, a Uruguayan but also Sardinian man.”
