Move City Sport 2024: i focus tematici

The organizational phases continue MOVE CITY SPORTscheduled for 22 and 23 October 2024 at the Bergamo Fairwhich announces some thematic focuses that will be addressed in the rich calendar of cultural events of the event.
Everything next October the world of sports and leisure facilities will meet at MOVE CITY SPORT: the event where the theme of sport, gaming and free time will be expressed in its broadest sense, calling together operators, institutions, public administrations, research bodies and the world of professions linked to the design of sports and outdoor facilities.

With the patronage of Coni, Sport and Health, and ANCI Lombardia, promoted by AIS – Sports Facilities Association, organized by Promoberg, Fierecom & Events, PAYSAGE – Promotion and Development for Landscape Architecture and MG Global Services, MOVE CITY SPORT continues the organizational phases and announces the thematic focuses addressed in the rich calendar of cultural events linked to the event.

The schedule of events will open with 3 Forum a Plenary Session, which will deal with design, management, redevelopment and support of sport and sports facilities. These will be accompanied by numerous workshops, divided into different macro-themes.
In short, the workshops will cover:

Sport and Development: this section covers the role of sport in promoting the socio-cultural development of communities. The conferences will focus on case studies of sports projects that have had a positive impact on local economies and communities.

Third Sector and Sport: This topic explores the role of non-governmental organizations in supporting the development of sport. The conferences will address the initiatives implemented to promote social inclusion and access to sport for all, also investigating the topic of international sports volunteering and funds to support athletes.

Water & Sport: The Sports Pool Project: the theme examines the importance of the design and management of sports pools. The meetings will discuss best practices for sustainable swimming pool design, water management, standards and guidance for safety in the swimming pool environment.

Management and Financing of Sports Facilities: This topic delves into the challenges and opportunities in managing and financing sports facilities. The conferences will cover topics such as seeking funding, managing resources efficiently and creating public-private partnerships.

Training in Sports: the section explores the importance of continuous training for sports operators. The workshops will address topics such as skills development, innovation in sports education and access to training for all, as well as presenting different courses of study to train the new sports manager.

Sports facility design: This theme examines best practices in the design of sports facilities. The meetings will discuss the importance of inclusive design, environmental sustainability and flexibility in adapting facilities to the needs of different sports disciplines, also addressing the issues of territorial, economic and financial planning.

Sustainability and Safety in Sports Facilities: the topic introduces strategies to make sports facilities more sustainable and safe. The conferences will cover topics such as energy efficiency, plant sustainability, plant safety and accident prevention.

Sports and Tourism: the topic introduces the link between sport and the tourism industry. The conferences will discuss the importance of sporting events in promoting tourist destinations, the opportunities for developing sports-related tourism packages and strategies for making the most of the tourism potential of sports facilities.

Sport e Real Estate: the theme explores the role of sports facilities in the real estate industry. The workshops will address topics such as the incorporation of sports spaces into urban development projects, the use of sports facilities as leverage to attract real estate investment and the challenges in managing and maintaining sports facilities.

Finally, three certified training courses are planned for managers of sports facilities, municipal technicians and designers, dedicated to topics such as plant design and project financing.
