The Montreal Alouettes scored a big coup by announcing on Friday the signing of wide receiver Preston Williams, a former NFL player.
The 27-year-old played for three seasons for the Miami Dolphins and played one game with the Carolina Panthers in 2022. He played 25 games in total, scoring seven touchdowns and amassing 787 yards.

Williams had his best career game on October 11, 2020 when he passed the 100-yard mark in a game against the San Francisco 49ers, in addition to reaching the end zone once.
The American wore the uniform of the DC Defenders, in the United Football League, in 2024.
