After the game on April 21, the Twins fell to 7-13 and fourth place in the American League Central Division.

However, they have recovered; and in what way, becoming the first team to win 10 consecutive games this season. They continue in the fourth step of their section, but without losing track of their rivals, who have enjoyed good starts to the campaign.

Now, this 10th victory; which puts Minnesota’s record at 17-13, came after the “Twin Cities” team fought a give-and-take against the White Sox, from which they managed to break away in the seventh inning, to end up scoring four runs in the ninth inning and take the 10-5 victory in the third of the Guaranteed Rate Field series.

Max Kepler and Puerto Rican José Miranda combined RBI singles and in the ninth it was the Puerto Rican third baseman himself who brought two to the plate with a double, culminating his 4-3 effort with a run scored and two RBIs. Ryan Jeffers and Wili Castro also collaborated in that last stretch with a double and an uncatchable RBI respectively.

In this way, the Twins have their first 10-game winning streak since 2008 and the franchise’s fourth-longest since its move to Minnesota in 1961.

However, the award went to Bailey Ober (3-1), who pitched six innings in which he allowed six hits, three runs, walked none and struck out three opponents. In total, he threw 82 pitches (58 in the strike zone) and left his ERA at 4.55. Meanwhile, Dominic Leone (0-1) took the loss.
