Milwaukee Bucks’ Thanasis Antetokounmpo Suffers Serious Injury: Ruptured Achilles Tendon

Bad news accumulates in the Milwaukee Bucks. It may not change anything at all since his role was testimonial, but a few days after being eliminated by the Indiana Pacers, the Bucks saw Thanasis Antetokounmpo fall seriously injured.

As Shams Charania has announced, the Greek international has ruptured his Achilles tendon, an injury that will force him to undergo surgery.

Once again, his role in the Bucks has been more psychological, contributing from the bench and keeping his brother Giannis happy, than sporting. This season he has played 36 games, 34 in the regular phase and 2 in the playoffs, averaging a very low 0.9 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.5 assists.
