Important day at home Milan on the front new coach. Sergio Conceiçãothe main candidate to replace Stefano Pioli, will meet today with André Villas-Boas who will be sworn in as Porto’s 32nd president. As reported by the Portuguese ‘Record’, in fact, one of the points of the former coach’s electoral campaign was budgetary rigor and discipline from an economic point of view. The renewal of Conceiçao – who receives 3.5 million plus bonuses – would cost the club 28 million over four years. A figure that the new president could consider excessive.
A salary of around four million per season, however, is fully within Milan’s parameters, given that it is the amount that Pioli earns and which was put on the table for Julen Lopetegui.
