Mike Maignan’s new setback on the road to the Euro

His return to competition was expected for Saturday and the reception of Salernitana, on the last day of the Italian Championship, but Mike Maignan will have to wait a little longer. Thursday morning, the French international goalkeeper for AC Milan, 28, injured a finger during the training session. Initial fears were followed by the first rather reassuring examinations: no fracture was detected, just a dislocation of the fifth finger of the left hand which will require the fitting of a corset for a week. Maignan will not play again this weekend with his club but his participation in the Euro seemed much less in danger.
