Marineros de Carabobo Defeat Guerreros de Lara 5-2, Continue Winning Streak in LMBP

The current champions of the Major League of Professional Baseball (LMBP), Marineros de Carabobo, have won four of their most recent five games after starting the season 0-2, and this Saturday they defeated Guerreros de Lara by a score of 5-2 at the José Bernardo Pérez in Valencia, putting their record at 4-3, the same as Guerreros.

The Nauta team opened the scoreboard in the bottom part of the second chapter with an RBI single from José Gómez and in the fourth they added one more with a hit from Osman Marval that brought Yoel Yanqui to the plate.

Subsequently, Guerreros equalized the actions in the seventh inning with unstoppable RBIs in a row by Juan Teixeira (double) and Wilmer Pérez, respectively, but at the end of that stretch the Marineros offense took advantage of the lack of control of the Larense pitching and scored two scores with walks to a full house, while a third occurred with an unstoppable tugboat from Edgardo Fermín.
