It’s no wonder, then, that former ski pro Maria Höfl-Riesch often steps onto a tennis court on Lake Garda. She last did so on May 18. “The tennis season has begun,” she wrote under an Instagram post showing her on a clay court in Gardone Riviera – eight days before the start of the French Open in Paris.
It is not the first time that Höfl-Riesch has visited the tennis court on the west coast of Lake Garda. In her Instagram feed, there are two more photos of the same court. What is curious is that there are exactly 102 weeks between each of the three pictures. Höfl-Riesch posted the first one 204 weeks ago, the second one 102 weeks ago and now the latest one has followed. Will another 102 weeks – almost two years – pass until the next tennis post?

Höfl-Riesch continues to be active even after the end of her career
While the international tennis focus is slowly narrowing to Paris and thus to the French Open, Höfl-Riesch is also getting closer to the French capital. She is currently in Monaco to attend the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
But it is not just tennis and racing that keep Höfl-Riesch interested after her career. The former ski star is very active herself, whether it is on an e-bike tour in the Austrian Alps or golfing in Florida. However, she has shown time and again that her focus is still on skiing. For example, she recently commented on radical changes in the World Cup calendar. (sch)
