He is only the fourth goalkeeper in Bundesliga history to reach this milestone. Previously, only Oliver Kahn (557), Eike Immel (534) and Uli Stein (512) broke this mark.
There was very special support in the stands for the anniversary. His wife Anika (23) and baby Luca watched the game on Mother’s Day in the Allianz Arena. Among other things, they saw Neuer being substituted in the second half. The third goalkeeper, Daniel Peretz, comes in – a gesture from Tuchel.
Neuer: “Everything is fine. That was agreed upon beforehand, if the result was right and the coach gave us confidence that we could make a change. I think that because the game was safe, it became clear relatively quickly that this was going to happen today. We’re all happy that Dani was on the pitch today too.”

Neuer’s son Luca was born on March 14th.
So far, the goalkeeper has only posted one photo of himself with a stroller. Now – in keeping with Mother’s Day – there were the first recordings of Anika with Luca.
The son already has Adidas shoes on to match his dad…
