It would no longer have been decisive for the outcome of the season, but SV Werder Bremen’s U23s almost made a mistake in the Bremen League for the first time. Bremen struggled to a narrow victory against SV Hemelingen.
Bremen – It almost happened! The U23 of the SV Werder Bremen was on the verge of losing its first point in the Bremen League on Thursday evening. Against the SV Hemelingen Bremen had a surprisingly difficult time, conceded more than two goals for the first time this season and ultimately “only” struggled to a 4:3 (3:3) win. For the first time, Bremen won by just one goal.
Werder Bremen’s U23 struggles to win against SV Hemelingen
The game initially took its usual course. After just ten minutes they were in the lead U23 of the SV Werder Bremen with goals from Ronan Kratt (5th minute) and Philipp Kühn (10th) to make it 2-0. In Werder’s U23’s remaining games against FC Oberneuland (Tuesday, May 7th, 7 p.m.) and BTS Neustadt (Saturday, May 11th, 3 p.m.), the record could be broken, as could the 200-goal mark (currently 197 ) can be cracked.
