Excitement overwhelms the San Martín Club and the city of 9 de Julio with the news that two outstanding local judokas have managed to qualify for the national Judo championship, organized by the National Judo Confederation.
This competition, considered the most prestigious in Argentina in this discipline, will take place in the city of Villa Carlos Paz, at the Arenas Stadium, on May 2, 3, 4 and 5.
From the Club San Martín Judo School, Sensei Santiago Falco highlighted that this achievement is the fruit of the hard work in the dojo by Senseis Ángel Candia and Julián López, who focus on the forms and techniques known as Katas, as well as Sensei Jorge Mastroliberto in physical and technical preparation. Falco stressed that judo is a sport of growth and collective work.
The Club San Martín dojo is federated in the FBJ and has a Provincial Referee. They have refereed in various tournaments, including the provincial championship, the Buenos Aires Youth Games and the Evita National Games.
The nine-julian judokas who will represent the city in the FNJ National Tournament are Isaías Cambello and Alma Falco. They have secured their place after overcoming various challenges and are ready to face the best competitors in the country in search of the long-awaited national title.
Alma, 15 years old, will compete in the novice cadet category and will also fight in the Junior category (18 to 21 years old). For his part, Isaías, 23 years old, will compete in the Kyu novice category. Alma will face an additional challenge by competing in an adult category, which represents a true challenge but also a unique opportunity to demonstrate his talent and determination on a high-level stage.
Isaías, with hard work, sacrifice and passion for Judo, has been constantly growing representing 9 De Julio and is preparing to shine on the national stage.
