Treacherous final climb
The focus in today’s long time trial will be on the Ponte Valleceppi: the difficult final climb in Perugia will be the key moment. The first one and a half kilometers of the slope is particularly difficult, with an average gradient of 10.5%. Then it levels off sharply, to a total of 6.5 km at 4% average.
