Bogarde comes from a football family, led by Uncle Winston, who once played for FC Barcelona and Chelsea FC. The brother of the LASK newcomer, Lamare Bogarde, currently plays for Aston Villa’s U21 team, while cousin Danilho Doekhi is under contract with Union Berlin.

“I’m really looking forward to the new challenge and the task at LASK. The club made a huge effort to look after me and gave me a really good feeling right from the start. I was also very impressed by the existing infrastructure with the Raiffeisen Arena and I’m convinced “To find ideal conditions here to develop myself further,” the neo-Linzer is quoted as saying in a press release.

Vujanovic: “Enrichment for our game”

Sports director Radovan Vujanovic sees Bogarde as “a very exciting player” who “fits our profile perfectly.” We see him as having “high development potential, which is why we consciously decided on a long-term contract. We are convinced that he can be an absolute asset to our game,” Vujanovic continued.

Bogarde is the first “real” newcomer to the Stahlstadt team. There are also numerous loan returnees, all information can be found in the LAOLA1 transfer list >>>
