Last weekend of May 18th and 19th, the Judo Shiai sports club was involved in several very important events, repeatedly climbing onto the podium, confirming the value of the Judoka Piacentini.
At the 34th international tournament city of Colombo Gran Prix Juniores 2024 the Piacentina Champion Asia Sassi wins the Gold Medal in the cat – 52KG while Francesca Trongone an excellent Silver Medal in the cat – 78kg losing the final by a whisker, Loris D ‘Aguanno – 66kg, although still a cadet, had a wonderful race in the higher category even if he didn’t reach the podium;
Alex D’Aguanno Juniores – 73 kg won the team silver at the Italian University Judo Championship held in Campobasso by winning all the matches. Not to be outdone were athletes from the boys category of the Piacentina club who fought in CastelfrancoEmilia at the ABC Judo trophy, in particular Lara and Alessio Georgiev with Gold Medals, Giulia Verde, Adam Driza and Marco Petrusic with Silver Medals demonstrating excellent preparation.
