The Ivry-la-Bataille football club organized a football camp during the school holidays, with the aim of uniting the different teams.
“For several years, we have been setting up this three-day course, with a beneficial effect for our club. It is dedicated to young footballers, from U7 to U15; the U18s acting as supervisors. 50 young people were involved in the course, supervised by around fifteen volunteers,” explains Yann Guinamant who chairs the CSI with Cyril Bisson.
The children particularly enjoyed this course, especially as they had lunch and snacks on site. “The idea is also to create links between the different categories of our club, which has 200 members including around a hundred young people”.
With the seniors
Wednesday afternoon, the participants in this course accompanied the players of the senior team to the stadium, on the occasion of the match on May 1, between the CSI and Saint-Marcel (27). They also attended the match.
The young people left that evening with a nice participation diploma. Despite their encouragement, Ivry was beaten by Saint-Marcel, by 3 goals to 2.
