Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard Shines at Open Parc Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Reaches Final After Victory Over Bublik

For its last edition, the Open Parc Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes was spoiled. Because this week, the ATP 250 tournament featured the breakthrough of Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard. The young Frenchman won his first victory against a member of the Top 20 in two sets (6-4, 7-5) and 1h18 of play in the half. To get the trophy, he will have to beat Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry on Saturday.

To win, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard relied on his favorite weapon: his first ball (85% success behind).
