The two tennis professionals Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have separated. The Spaniard announced this on social networks.
They were THE dream couple in the tennis scene: Stefanos Tsitsipas (25) and Paula Badosa (26). Now the two tennis professionals, who only made their relationship public last year, have separated. The 26-year-old announced this via Instagram.
Separation by consent
“After careful consideration and many beautiful moments together, Stefanos and I have decided to part ways amicably,” explained Badosa. “We have shared a journey full of love and learning and as friends with great mutual respect, we now choose to continue our own paths.”
Badosa was Tsitsipa’s “soul mate”
Last summer, the Greek described his Spanish girlfriend as a soul mate: “It’s very rare that you find your soul mate. I’ve met a lot of women in my life. And I can say that very confidently. I’ve never dressed like that felt and found so much beauty and was interested in a woman.”
At the Masters tournament in Rome (from Wednesday) all eyes will probably be on Tsitsipas.
