From the first steps in a cage to the championship belt. The AresMMA project has a broad aim: to bring together under the same brand a sports league, a training club and a management and influence agency specializing in MMA, the combat sport that has become the most popular. To create this French champion, the SLAM fund (sport, luxury, art and music) acquired the MMA fighting organization Ares Fighting Championship, as well as the Management Factory and MMA Factory to form the AresMMA group.
“The activities are brought together in a platform approach to be present in all MMA professions,” explains Xavier Marin, president and founder of the private equity company Trail, at the head of SLAM. The fund, launched at the end of 2023 and endowed with 200 million euros, becomes a majority shareholder of the AresMMA group alongside champion Ciryl Gane.
