According to Draft expertsESPN Jonathan Givony et Jeremy Woo, Alex Sarr remains favorite to be the first pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Several sources close to the League believe that the Hawks will select the French interior, who is attractive with his physical profile, his versatility and his overall potential. Sarr said it himself, he would not be against arriving in Atlanta and wants the status of first pick. However, that doesn’t mean the Atlanta franchise is set on its positions, and a lot can still happen in the month to come.

Zaccharie Risacher is firmly installed in second position, he who showed himself in front of the leaders of the Hawks in the LNB Playoffs but who especially exploded in Game 2 in Nanterre. Clearly Zacch has made an impression and as a reward he could find himself in… Washington in a month. “He has the size and skills to become an excellent complementary winger and versatile defender” estimated ESPNwhich also highlighted his potential as a creator.

Third Frenchman who should be selected as a lottery pick: Tidjane Salaün. Certainly the adventure with Cholet ended a little suddenly, but he too was a success in the Playoffs against Paris. Result ? He made a big jump in the latest Mock DraftESPN. The blue-white-red prospect is announced 8th, which would send him to… Victor Wembanyama’s Spurs.

“Salaün finished the season more productive offensively, showing his ability, his energy, and flashes of his talent as a winger who could spread the field.” – ESPN

Tidjane Salaün 8th for Spurs, meteoric comeback!

Short but very intense and above all extremely successful playoffs for the prospect… a duo with Wemby next year?

  • #48 : Melvin Ajinca (San Antonio Spurs)

Finally, we also note the appearance of Bronny James in #54 (to the Boston Celtics, LOL), he who remains on a rather encouraging performance at the NBA Draft Combine.
